Big Life Update: I Got Married…and I’m Pregnant!

I’ve been holding some really huge news close to my heart—and today, I’m so excited to share it with you!

I got married. And…I’m pregnant!

Dom and I tied the knot on July 20, surrounded by our closest family and friends in my parents’ backyard in Laguna Beach. It was intimate, sweet, and perfectly captured the happiness of this time in our lives.

When we set our date in July, we were in the midst of fertility treatments and didn’t know if our planned IVF cycle would be successful. All we knew for sure was that we wanted a small, meaningful wedding that felt like home to us while we were working on building our family. The fact that it worked out the way that it did is truly a dream come true. I absolutely love the fact that our baby guided our wedding planning and was there with us.

As you can imagine, dress shopping was a little complex. I bought a dress (ok, multiple dresses!) early on in the process, but…three weeks before my wedding, nothing fit and I called my stylist friend, Thomas Carter Phillips. He made magic happen with an incredibly talented tailor, Hailey Desjardins, who built me a dress from scratch—something classic and romantic that accentuated the bump. And it got delivered literally the night before we departed for our wedding weekend!

There was a beachfront ceremony followed by dips in the pool, a family-style Mexican lunch, and five(!) different wedding cakes: lemon poppyseed, brown sugar cheesecake, flourless chocolate, carrot, and hummingbird! And in a full-circle moment that made us both smile, our first dance was to Aretha Franklin’s “Kissin’ by the Mistletoe,” a little wink to the fact that Natale (Dom’s last name) means “Christmas” in Italian.

This past year has been filled with so much change and growth. I received an endometriosis diagnosis and had surgery earlier this year, followed by a fertility journey that brought up every possible feeling: hope, fear, gratitude, and everything in between. Becoming pregnant is the most profound gift, and it’s one I hold with such tenderness and respect.

To every woman navigating endo, fertility unknowns, IVF, or loss—please know my heart is with you. I’ve walked parts of that road, and I’ve never felt more connected to our community than I do now. I’m sending you so much love and strength.

When I started Love Wellness, it was because I believed women deserve better support for our health—through every season of life. That belief is only stronger now. Everything we do at this company is rooted in helping all of us feel more understood, more empowered, and more at home in our bodies.

As I step into this new chapter of pregnancy and motherhood, I’ll be continuing to share my journey here, along with the things that are helping me feel my best along the way. I hope you’ll follow along. Thank you for being here with me, in this amazing community. 💕

With love,
Lo
