When a product is FDA approved, that includes the packaging too. The bottle utilized for Intimate Skin Support™ has undergone rigorous stability testing to prove that it does not interfere with formula efficacy. While a 360° bottle would make it possible to spray product with the bottle upside down, the technology required for this function is not compatible with the formula.
Hypochlorous acid is an antimicrobial compound your immune system naturally produces to help defend itself from bacteria and viruses. You might be used to seeing this clinically studied ingredient in skincare for your face…but the benefits don’t stop there!
Our FDA-cleared spray is safe for use on your external intimate skin –– including the vulva area and perineum (the area between the vagina and the anus) –– and helps remove buildup that can cause odor.
Intimate Skin Support™ is an FDA-cleared medical device which when used daily gently cleanses external intiate skin, sweeping away buildup which can cause odor, and supporting the healing of minor skin abrasions, like razor burn.
It means that this product has been submitted to and cleared by the Food and Drug Administration as a safe product to use to help cleanse and support skin hygiene. FDA Clearance is not necessary for a product like this — in fact, it’s out of the ordinary for our industry! It’s worth taking this extra step to give women confidence that this does what we say it does.
To use, simply spray thoroughly onto your vulva and perineum (external skin only, never internally). Let it air dry for a moment — no rinsing necessary! It dries quickly without leaving any odor or residue. We like to keep ours right next to our toilet and use it after each trip to the bathroom! When your formula runs low in the bottle, keep your pump pointed upwards and sit down with a knee raised on toilet, bed, or chair and spray.
For best results, make Intimate Skin Support™ part of your everyday routine. Using it regularly after sex, working out, and using the restroom will help you make sure you’re cleansing away buildup before it causes odor.
Definitely! It’s pH-safe, gentle, non-drying, and designed to be used several times a day.
This product is formulated specifically for the delicate skin on and around your vulva and perineum. With that said, it’s safe for adults to use on other areas of their skin.
Unfortunately, due to certain restrictions, the Intimate Skin Support™ Spray is not available for purchase in Canada at this time.
When hypochlorous acid reacts with organic matter (like UTI-causing bacteria!), it produces a compound called chloramines. These compounds give off that distinct pool-like or chlorine-like smell. It’s no cause for concern…and it shows that the product is getting to work!
No, in order to keep this formula stable (and effective) the bottles are sealed with a tiny dot of glue in production. To keep your spray stable and free from contaminants, do not open or transfer product.
One of our recent shipments of Intimate Skin Support went out with an incomplete perforation tear. We’ve since fixed the issue for future shipments, but we didn’t want to be wasteful by discarding the bottles that were already packaged. The product inside is completely safe and unaffected by the shrink wrap issue.
To open the bottle, look for a perforation or seam on the shrink wrap. If the perforation tear is not visible, gently use your fingers or scissors to remove the wrap. Be careful while using anything sharp to prevent injury.
