Why We Made pH Balancing Cleanser

We make pH Balancing Cleanser because we discovered back in 2016 that most personal care products for women are toxic for our precious bodies. Drugstore soaps are formulated with sulfates, fragrances, and other harsh chemicals that can destroy your vaginal microbiome and pH which invites in infection and irritation. Ours is made different - safe for your vulva, free of fragrance, and pH balanced so you get clean while you support your vaginal microbiome. You wouldn’t use bar soap on your face, so why would you use something toxic on your most personal parts?

Using clean hands, apply pH Balancing Cleanser to the vulva in the shower or bath. Gently work into a lather and rinse clean. Can be used every time you wash. Do not use a bath loofah, sponge, or towel as these may be harsh and rough on the vulva.

pH Balancing Cleanser will last 2 years through its expiration date if unopened and properly stored in a clean and dry space, away from areas that experience humidity, moisture, or excess heat. Once opened, we recommend using within 2 months to preserve your product. While we know pH Balancing Cleanser belongs in your shower/bath, it’s important to store your bottle away from continuously running water - a shelf or dry corner will be the best location!

We’ve updated the packaging and bottle of the pH Balancing Cleanser, as well as improved our ingredients. The bottle is now 5oz, an opaque clear color, and features a flip cap for easier storage and travel. The formula is the same. A slight change in color or texture can be expected since we use ingredients that are seasonally sourced. Depending on the time, weather, and environment, a variation in color is expected. However, rest assured you’re continuing to use the same product you know and love. New look, same gentle cleanser!
